Bumble bees and calorie free brioche

By | May 10, 2015

I’ve had a pretty heavy teaching schedule at Creative Yarns since last fall. Almost every weekend has seen me there feeding the addiction of fellow fibre freaks. Finally I got a chance to be on the other side of the table.

One of the benefits of being a teacher is that when they are deciding the class schedule you can “voluntold” others to teach classes you want to take. This time I was able to teach Christina to teach brioche. I admit it was strange to be on the other side of the table, but I had a blast!

Here’s my calorie free brioche sample. I learned the brk, brp, increases and decreases.

Bus knitting this month has also helped me finish a pair of socks that for sure fall in the F-U Winter category. These have been in my Resource Centre for a very long time – March of 2010 and I finally decided to use it up. I started back in February, when Mother Nature was drunk and wouldn’t leave us alone.

Now it’s 30C and too hot to wear. But I’m totally prepared for you next year Mother Nature!
